Universal Sydney
Sydney’s premier queer venue located in the heart of Oxford Street. Operating over 2 levels, Universal trades 7 nights a week on ground level and on Fridays and Saturdays upstairs in the Superclub. GAYM curates and produces both Sanctuary Fridays and DéjàVu (Every Saturday Night) alongside the strong venue team which is why it’s at the forefront of weekly LGBTQIA+ entertainment. GAYM’s history with Universal spans back to 2018 with The Week Australia before our weekly concepts started running in 2020.
Universal Superclub
Located on the buzzing Oxford Street, Universal is at the very heart of Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ community, hosting drag shows, themed parties, rainbow-coloured festivals and more.
While downstairs is where the party is at – with DJs performing most nights, a typically uproarious crowd, and late-night dance sessions every Friday and Saturday – upstairs is a more relaxed affair, where you can dine on a menu of burgers, steaks, pastas and parmies (with a rubber duck cocktail in hand) while watching the evening’s live entertainment.
Home The Venue
Located in Darling Harbour, Sydney’s largest purpose built nightclub boasts multiple floor and dancefloors and is a long standing partner of GAYM Entertainment. Home hosts GAYM’s infamous sunrise party Morning Glory as well as other large scale events including Mardi Gras: Closing Party, ORACLE, One Night Only and CRAVE with artists like Fedde Le Grand, Jax Jones, Maddix, Paul Van Dyk, Anne Louise & Cristobal Pesce.
Hordern Pavilion
One of Sydney’s most renowned venues for large scale events, concerts & dance parties. Yearly, it hosts the official Mardi Gras afterparty as well as hundreds of other events in multiple different formats. We’ve worked with Hordern’s team on multiple shows, and it is by far one of our favourite partnerships and we look forward to any opportunity where we get to work together. With a strong understanding of queer culture and the queer community, Hordern sets itself apart from any other festival sized venue in NSW.
Liberty Hall
Located in Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter, Liberty Hall is a versatile space run by the team behind MARY’s & MARY’s Underground. Although the majority of the shows are live entertainment and bands, Liberty Hall hosts our annual Halloween Party. Spread across 2 floors with an epic mezzanine looking over the main dancefloor, Liberty Hall is one of our favourite venues to work with for many reasons, their sound system, the venue layout and most of all their team.
Potts Point Hotel
A multi-level / multi-purpose venue located in Kings Cross, PPH has hosted our weekly drag bingo concept Bingo Babes and our brunch party Morning Tea (a sister to our day club Morning Glory). With a strong focus on food and beverage and an open-air rooftop, PPH sets itself apart with multiple floors and versatile spaces allowing us to host a range of different events.
Seadeck
Seadeck is Sydney’s iconic floating venue — a luxurious, European-inspired superyacht with open decks, elegant design, and panoramic views of the Harbour. It’s the perfect home for Morning Glory Sunset Cruise. As we sail past the Opera House and Harbour Bridge during the most breathtaking Sydney sunset, Seadeck transforms into a vibrant dancefloor with amazing music, where energy, self-expression, and connection come alive on the water.
